The band's name implies intoxication via the metallic red stuff, but the sound is that of pure, trashy beer and whiskey. Blooddrunk Shenanigans are part of a long-standing tradition of drunken UK blokes and the fiery punk they create. (Even though they appear to be from Texas. Weird.) Lead singer Timmy Kin has a Shane MacGowan-esque brogue that manages to convey equal parts anger and wry, smirking sarcasm. One gets the impression the band's real intoxication - apart from booze and cigarettes - is chaos. Song after song, Blooddrunk Shenanigans make it clear that the aftermath of the drink ("Let's Fight," "Get Up and Yell," "Let's Rock") is more rewarding than the drink itself. Grab a whiskey, catch ‘em live and slam head-on into your fellow man.
