Friendly faces serve standard American food alongside Korean, Chinese and Japanese dishes at K & C Burkie Burgers just outside McChord gates. The small, clean and casual eatery does a good job with both East and West offerings - corn dog or gyoza, California wrap or spicy tuna roll, chili cheese dog or chicken teriyaki, curly fries or scallop roll.
Many fast food places have value meals. At K & C Burkie Burgers meals are a reduced price combo of burger or chicken nuggets, fries and soda. I have a soft spot for bulgogi, though; a Korean dish of marinated barbequed beef. Not only do I like saying bulgogi, I adore sweet tender meat. To my delight bulgogi is offered three ways at K & C: encased in white rice and black nori with cucumber, onion and cabbage sushi roll-style ($6.95), as an entrée with two deep-fried gyoza, white rice and side salad ($8.95), and between grilled burger buns with frilly deep green leaf lettuce, fresh cut red onion, special sauce, luscious juicy slabs of tomato and an order of golden fries ($6.95).
Other than the bulgogi burger I ordered, six specialty burgers, spicy and regular chicken, a fish and a garden burger are available.
Quench your thirst with fountain drinks, bottled juices and teas.

I have been eating at K & C Burkie since it was first opened July of 2009. The food is absolutely delicious. For such a small restaurant to have a large selection of items, K & C Burkie prepares every single item to perfection. From its delicous burgers made in a variety of ways, to its mouthwatering bulgogi (Korean bbq), K & C Burkie delivers day-in-and-day-out. Korean, Japanese and American dishes all are prepared by some very friendly people in a quaint restaurant. K & C Burkie is located less than a 1/4 mile from McChord AFB's front gate...I wanted to add to my first review.

In my last post, I forgot to select five stars for this restaurant. The food there is just too delicious. The portions will leave a person food. K & C Burkie offers many different items that are prepared with great care...I recommend this restaurant to anyone.

My coworkers and I frequent Burkie's. They're very friendly, the food is fresh and it's right outside the gate at McChord. The prices are also reasonable. My personal favorite is the "Lakewood Roll" they make with smoked salmon, capers, and such... Very tasty!
