Saturday, Feb. 25: Latino Dance Party

Broadway Center Rehearsal Studio II

By Volcano Staff on February 23, 2012

Look, we realize there's a decent chance you've never been to a real, live Latino dance party. We're going to level with you: neither have we. We went to Cabo once on spring break, and sometimes on Friday nights we go to El Toro for giant margaritas the size of baby heads, but neither of these scenarios qualifies as an actual Latino dance part. Saturday at the Broadway Center's Rehearsal Studio II, the renowned group Deseo Carmin will bring a "fusion of traditional, modern Latin American and Spanish rhythms," to T-Town to unleash on the masses, all under the header ‘Latino Dance Party with Deseo Carmin."

It seems sure to get more than a few sets of hips gyrating.

Perhaps the best part?

Three words: complimentary taco bar.

The show starts at 7:30 p.m., but a free salsa lesson led by Marisela Fleites Lear starting at 6 p.m. in the Broadway Center's Rehearsal Studio I will really get the party started.
