Do you wanna be rich? Do you wanna be a superstar? Yeah, we'll so did fucking Sweet Water - and they seem to have grown up. The least you could do is move out of your mom's godforsaken basement. It really chaps her hide to have you down there playing Xbox, reliving the '90s, while she's trying to have "company." And you know what I mean. Anyway, Friday night would be the perfect night to give your mom a little privacy; Sweet Water is playing Hell's Kitchen with Glimpse and Basic Radio. There'll be more hooks at this show than you'll know what to do with - but that'll be good, because complicated artistry is not your strong suit. You like it served up nice and easy - which is exactly what Sweet Water will deliver. It's what the band is built on, and it's a recipe that still works. - MD
